Polygonal Chain

A polygonal chain is a sequence of line segments joined by at least one endpoint.
  • The term "polygonal chain" is a synonym of " broken line ".
  • A closed polygonal chain is generally called a polygon.
  • Two segments that share an endpoint are called adjacent segments or adjacent sides of the polygonal chain.
