Minor Circular Segment
Circular segment whose area is less than that of a semicircle.
The measure of arc AB, which forms the boundary of the minor circular segment (shaded portion) is less than the measure of the arc that forms the boundary of a semicircle.
A minor circular segment does not contain the centre of the circle.
