Ascending Order

To arrange numbers in ascending order consists of putting them in order from the least value to the greatest value.

Examples

In each of these lists of numbers, the numbers are arranged in ascending order:
  • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 3, 5, 7, 9, 9, 12, 15, 15, 23, 45 30, 40, 60, 90, 120, 200 –12, -8, –3, 0, 3, 7, 11, 23
Arrangement of quantities from least to greatest.

Example

Consider these statistical results: 13, 10, 5, 19, 22, 17, 30, 22, 25. By arranging them in ascending order, we get: 5, 10, 13, 17, 19, 22, 22, 25, 30.
