Spherical Degree
Portion of the area of a surface of a sphere equal to [latex]\frac{1}{720}[/latex] of the whole surface of the sphere.
In the sexagesimal system, the spherical degree is defined by a birectangular spherical triangle in which the third angle measures 1°.
