Scatter Plot

In a Cartesian plane, the representation of a distribution with one or more qualitative statistical attributes in which each element is represented individually by a point.
The scatter plot is sometimes called a scatter graph. A scatter plot can reveal a group or cluster of the most significant data, any gaps, or inconsistent data in the distribution.

Examples

In this example, the scatter plot is in the shape of a circle. The dependency between the two statistical characteristics studied is low or zero.
