Invertible
Term that refers to that which can be inverted, has an inverse, or whose components can be interchanged.
Examples
- The number 2 is invertible, since it has an inverse, that is : [latex]\frac{1}{2}[/latex]. Therefore : [latex]2 × \frac{1}{2}[/latex] is equal to 1.
- The number 0 is not invertible.
