Link or dependency relation between two statistical or probabilistic phenomena.
The mathematical model that corresponds to this link makes it possible to define a linear correlation (if the graph of the general model is a line), a quadratic correlation (if the graph of the general model is a parabola), an exponential correlation (if the graph of the general model is an exponential curve), etc.
