Sequence that has a limit.
A convergent sequence is a sequence whose terms decrease steadily as they get closer to a specific value called the limit of the sequence.
Example
The sequence of numbers in which each number is equal to half the number that precedes it is a convergent sequence :
S = {64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1, 0,5, 0,25, 0,125, …}
The limit of this sequence is 0. However, it should be noted that 0 is not a term of the sequence; it is its limit.
