A circle that is contained inside a polygon and is tangent to each side of the polygon.

Properties

All triangles andregular polygons have inscribed circles (incircles).
The centre of a circle inscribed in a triangle is the point where the interior angle bisectors of the triangle meet.


The centre of a circle inscribed in a regular polygon is the point where the perpendicular bisectors of the sides of the polygon meet.
