Factored Form of a Polynomial

Factored Form of a Polynomial

Polynomial written in the form of a product of polynomials of lower degrees, when the polynomial can be factored.

Factorization is possible on the set of real numbers if there is at least one real number that cancels the polynomial.

Example

The expression 5(x – 2)(x – 3) is the factored form of the polynomial 5x² − 25x + 30.
