Exponential Equation
Equation whose basic form is y = bx where b is a strictly positive real number and not equal to 1.
- The number b is called the base of the exponential equation.
- The general form of an exponential equation of base b is y = bx - h + k where the parameters h and k characterize the horizontal and vertical translations, respectively, of the basic equation.
