Pair of sets that do not have any elements in common.

### Examples

- The set of even numbers and the set of odd numbers are disjoint sets.
- The set of prime numbers and the set of composite numbers are disjoint sets.
- The sets X = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} and Y = {6, 7, 8, 9, 10} are disjoint sets because they do not have any elements in common and we can write: X ∩ Y = ∅.
