Cosecant Function

Function f of {x ∈ [latex]\mathbb{R}[/latex] | xkπ where k ∈[latex]\mathbb{Z}[/latex]} in [latex]\mathbb{R}[/latex] defined by f(x) = [latex]\dfrac{1}{\sin{(x)}}[/latex].

Notation

  • The cosecant function is noted as “cosec(x)” which is read as “cosecant of x.”
  • Sometimes, the notation “csc(x)” is used to indicate “cosecant of x.”

Example

Here is the representation of the basic function defined by the relation f(x) = cosec(x) where x ≠ kπ and where k ∈ [latex]\mathbb{Z}[/latex]. Fonction Cosécante
