    The total cost of the chairs is $890, because: 89 × 10 = 890.
  • A customer bought 20 dictionaries for a school. The purchase cost is $600.
    The unit price (price per dictionary) is given by: 600 ÷ 20 = 30. Each dictionary costs $30.
