An angle in a plane formed by the intersection of two perpendicular lines.

The measure of a right angle is equal to half the measure of a straight angle.

The measure of a right angle is 90°.


Notation

In a geometric figure, a right angle is represented by a small square instead of an arc at the vertex of the angle.
