Function in which the argument is an angle value, or an angle of rotation.

General term used to designate one of the sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cosecant and cotangent functions that are the subject of circular trigonometry.

Example

The function \(f\) defined in the set of real numbers by the relation \(f\left(x\right)\) is a trigonometric function.
