Examples
- Fractions like \(\frac{2}{3}\), \(\frac{3}{4}\), \(\frac{5}{13}\) and \(\frac{8}{19}\) are simplified fractions.
- The fraction \(\frac{8}{18}\) is not a simplified fraction because the number 2 is a whole common divisor for 8 and 18. Therefore, the equivalent simplified fraction to \(\frac{8}{18}\) is the fraction \(\frac{4}{9}\) which is simplified.
