- “<” which is read as “is less than”
- “>” which is read as “is greater than”
- “≤” which is read as “is less than or equal to”
- “≥” which is read as “is greater than or equal to”
Examples
- In \(\mathbb{N}\), the solution set of the inequality \(x + 5 > 12\) is : {8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, …}.
