Cologarithm

Name sometimes given to the opposite of the logarithm of a number or to the logarithm of the inverse of the number.

Example

If log(3) ≈ 0.477, then log (\(\frac{1}{3}\)) ≈ – 0.477.
Therefore : colog(3) ≈ – 0.477.
