Quantile

Measure that makes it possible to divide the range of the data in a statistical distribution into a certain number of intervals that are not necessarily equal lengths but that contain the same number or the same percentage of data.

The most commonly used quantiles are the quartiles, quintiles, deciles, and percentiles.
