Cosecant Function

Cosecant Function

Function f of {x ∈ \(\mathbb{R}\) | xkπ where k ∈\(\mathbb{Z}\)} in \(\mathbb{R}\) defined by f(x) = \(\dfrac{1}{\sin{(x)}}\).

Notation

  • The cosecant function is noted as “cosec(x)” which is read as “cosecant of x.”
  • Sometimes, the notation “csc(x)” is used to indicate “cosecant of x.”

Example

Here is the representation of the basic function defined by the relation f(x) = cosec(x) where x ≠ kπ and where k ∈ \(\mathbb{Z}\).
